Mosque Bath

Located in the heart of Granada, this historic site was once part of an important Moorish palace complex known as the Alhambra. The Mosque Bath is believed to have been built during the 13th century, when Granada was under Muslim rule.

The building itself is quite impressive; it features a large pool surrounded by arches and columns made from marble and granite with intricate geometric designs carved into them. The walls are also decorated with colourful tiles depicting various scenes from nature such as birds, flowers, trees, and even fish swimming around in the water. It’s easy to see why this place has become so popular among tourists who come to explore Granada’s rich heritage.

Visitors can take a guided tour or go on their own self-guided exploration through the building’s many rooms, which feature beautiful gardens filled with lush vegetation including palm trees and fragrant orange blossoms alongside benches for relaxing after taking a dip in the pool. In addition to its architectural beauty, visitors will be able to learn about some interesting facts about life in Moorish Spain while they explore – like how women were not allowed inside public baths at that time.
